Recap
The Wanderers opened the scoring with a safety when the Seadogs quarterback, Richard Naves, was forced to concede after the ball was snapped over his head. The visitors added to their lead later in the quarter, finishing off a long drive with a Kevin Muise two yard touchdown run. Jeff Gillies added the convert.
For almost the next two quarters neither team was able to put points on the scoreboard. Both offences were able to put together significant drives but the defences were able to stop them at the crucial point in each drive.
Finally, with only seconds remaining in the third quarter, Kevin Muise ran off tackle, found a hole and outraced the Seadog defenders for an 80 yard touchdown run. Gillies added the convert.
In the fourth quarter with less than three minutes remaining Ross Brittain swept around the left end for a 20 yard touchdown gallop. Gillies again added the convert to close out the scoring.
