After many years of leading the Wanderers as President, player, and coach, Scott McNamee has decided not to re-offer as president for the 2024 season. Although Scott is stepping down as President, he will still be involved as Past-President and head of our Wanderers Alumni Group. We want to thank Scott for the years dedicated to the growth of the Wanderers, the team would not be where we are today without his passion and leadership.
With that announcement, we are excited to announce Chris Gallant as new President of the Saint John Wanderers. Chris has been with the Wanderers since 2018, coming in as Defensive Coordinator. Since then, he has held several other coaching roles, as well as member of our Executive since 2021. In addition to serving as President of the Wanderers, Chris is also a MFL Deputy Commissioner, Head Coach of the Saint John Storm, U18 Six A-side Head Coach, as well as the Offensive Coordinator of the Simonds Seabees.
